Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development of uniform designs, including sketching and creating technical drawings, mood boards, and color palettes
2. Help in selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials based on design requirements and functionality
3. Collaborate with pattern makers to translate design concepts into patterns and prototypes
4. Oversee the creation of sample garments, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards
5. Conduct research on fashion trends, fabrics, and industry innovations to inform design decisions and keep the brand competitive
6. Assist in preparing presentations and design proposals for clients, incorporating their feedback into design revisions
7. Visit clients and close the order
8. Ensure that finished uniforms meet quality standards and design specifications before production
9. Work with the production team to address design-related issues and ensure timely and accurate production of uniforms
10. Maintain organized records of design samples, fabric swatches, and client communications
Skills:
1. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD)
2. Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and pattern making
3. Excellent sketching and visualization skills
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working with uniform design for specific industries (e.g., corporate, healthcare, hospitality)
2. Knowledge of current fashion trends and uniform requirements
3. Experience in a manufacturing environment or with production processes
4. Local candidates will be given higher preference
