Role Overview

We are looking for an HR Intern Core HR Operations for a 6-month internship, ideal for HR freshers who want hands-on exposure to core HR functions beyond recruitment. The intern will support employee onboarding, background verification (BGV), HR documentation, HRMS updates, and day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Onboarding

  • Support employee onboarding including documentation, joining formalities, and induction coordination.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and new hires to ensure smooth joining processes.
  • Maintain and validate employee records as per company policies.

Background Verification (BGV)

  • Initiate and track BGV processes for new hires.
  • Coordinate with BGV vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate BGV trackers and compliance records.

HR Documentation & Compliance

  • Assist in maintaining employee files, policy acknowledgements, and statutory documents.
  • Update employee data in HRMS / Excel trackers with accuracy.
  • Support internal audits and compliance documentation as required.

Day-to-Day HR Support

  • Handle basic employee HR queries and coordinate resolutions.
  • Support attendance, leave records, and payroll inputs.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives and HR-driven activities.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (Pursuing or Completed).
  • Freshers preferred (01 year experience acceptable).
  • Strong interest in HR Operations / HR Generalist roles (non-recruitment).

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of HR lifecycle and operations.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
