Job Summary
The Plant HR Executive is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations at the manufacturing facility, including recruitment, employee relations, attendance management, statutory compliance support, onboarding, employee engagement, and coordination with plant employees and contractors. The role ensures smooth HR processes and compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment activities for shop-floor workers, staff, and contract employees.
- Conduct interviews, schedule candidate assessments, and complete joining formalities.
- Facilitate employee induction and onboarding programs.
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records, personal files, and HR documentation.
- Manage attendance, leave records, shift schedules, and manpower data.
- Prepare HR reports and MIS for management review.
Payroll & Employee Data Management
- Verify attendance and leave records for payroll processing.
- Coordinate with payroll teams for accurate salary inputs.
- Update employee information in HRMS systems.
Employee Relations
- Address employee queries and grievances.
- Support disciplinary actions and employee counseling activities.
- Foster positive employee relations on the shop floor.
Statutory Compliance
- Assist in maintaining compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Support audits and inspections related to labor compliance.
- Coordinate documentation related to contract labor and statutory records.
Training & Employee Engagement
- Organize induction, training, and development programs.
- Coordinate employee welfare and engagement initiatives.
- Support performance management and appraisal processes.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Experience
- 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, FMCG, chemical, or industrial environments.
