About The Job:
- We are looking for a Junior ETL Test and Senior ETL Test Lead with deep expertise in ETL/Data Migration testing, SQL, Cloud Data Platforms (Snowflake/AWS), BI validation, and strong leadership capability.
- The candidate will drive end-to-end QA strategy, lead teams, and ensure high-quality delivery for complex data programs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead ETL testing activities for large-scale data migration and data warehouse projects.
- Drive source-to-target data validation, schema validation, and complex SQL-based testing.
- Validate data pipelines deployed on Snowflake, AWS, Redshift, Glue, DBT, Talend/Informatica.
- Perform BI reporting testing using Power BI, Tableau, Cognos.
- Own test strategy, test planning, estimation, and QA delivery.
- Collaborate with data engineering, product, and business teams for requirement analysis.
- Mentor and manage a team of ETL testers, providing technical guidance.
- Implement automation for regression and reduce manual validation effort (Python/Katalon/Groovy).
- Participate in CI/CD integration for ETL testing and data validation automation.
- Ensure defect management, RCA, and documentation using tools like JIRA/ADO.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills Required
- Expert in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL)
- Strong hands-on in ETL tools: Talend, Informatica, AWS Glue, DBT, PySpark
- Experience in Snowflake, AWS (S3, Redshift), data lakes
- BI testing (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos)
- Pipeline monitoring: Apache Airflow
- Strong understanding of DWH concepts, SCD, fact/dimension models
- Automation exposure: Selenium, Katalon, Python (preferred)
Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership and client-facing capability
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle high-complexity data projects independently
