Junior Engineer(MST) Electrical Maintenance

We are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer specializing in Electrical Maintenance to support the Maintenance, Safety, and Testing (MST) functions. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and enhance safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the routine inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems (motors, transformers, switchgear, panels, wiring, etc.).
• Support preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Respond to electrical faults and breakdowns promptly and coordinate timely repairs.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to execute maintenance projects and improvements.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, tests, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure adherence to electrical safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in calibration and testing of electrical instruments and safety devices.
• Help in maintaining inventory of electrical components and tools.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1 to 6 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and industrial safety standards.
• Basic knowledge of MST (Maintenance, Safety, and Testing) practices is an advantage.
• Ability to use electrical testing tools and instruments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and in a team environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
