Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Interior Draughtsperson. The role involves creating detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans for interior design projects. The Draughtsperson will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and interior designers to translate design concepts into precise technical plans, ensuring adherence to project specifications and deadlines. They will also assist in material selection, coordinate with contractors, and ensure projects meet quality standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, other relevant design tools
• Strong understanding of architectural designs, sketches, and blueprints
• Excellent spatial planning, technical drawing, and design skills
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and precision in creating draft designs
• Knowledge of materials, furnishings, construction techniques, and finishes for interior design
• Proficient in measurement techniques, spatial planning, and layout assessments.
• Ability to collaborate with interior design teams and communicate requirements effectively.
• Detail-oriented and skilled in organizational and time management practices.
• Proficiency in tools/software for measurement and basic design; prior interior design experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in interior design, architecture, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in interior design or related projects is preferred but not mandatory.
