Junior Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software (e. g. , AutoCAD, Revit).
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes or improvements.
• Work with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings and revisions.
• Support senior draftsmen and other team members with drafting tasks as needed.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on potential improvements.

Qualifications:

• Associate s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc. ).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of basic engineering principles and drafting standards is a plus.

Experience:

• Previous experience or internships in drafting or a related field are preferred but not required.
