Role Overview

We are hiring a Director of Photography (DOP) who will:

Assist and lead shoots (indoor & outdoor)

Handle camera, lighting & sound setups

Support smooth on-ground execution

Manage and maintain production equipment inventory

Contribute to the overall production workflow

This is a work-from-office role based in Pune. You will be actively involved in live projects and on-ground shoots.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Shoot Execution

• Operate professional cinema cameras
• Plan and execute lighting setups
• Manage basic audio recording on shoots
• Work closely with the Creative Director & Producers
• Ensure visual consistency and production quality

Equipment & Inventory Management

• Maintain and track all production equipment
• Ensure proper storage, charging, and readiness of gear
• Conduct pre-shoot and post-shoot equipment checks
• Coordinate rentals when required

Pre-Production & On-Ground Support

• Assist in tech recces
• Understand shot breakdowns and execution plans
• Help with basic set building and art execution (bonus)
• Support junior crew on set

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in live production
• Strong understanding of:

a) Camera systems & lenses

b) Lighting techniques (studio & outdoor)

c) Basic sound recording

• Understanding of exposure, color temperature & composition
• Comfortable working in fast-paced shoot environments
• Physically comfortable with handling gear and outdoor shoots
• Detail-oriented & disciplined with equipment handling

Bonus Points if you have

• Experience in ad films or branded content
• Knowledge of gimbals, sliders, drone operations
• Basic color grading understanding
• Set-building / art direction exposure
• Editing knowledge (Premiere / DaVinci)
