This is a On-site role for a Junior DGPS Survey Specialist located in Bhubaneswar. The specialist will conduct aeronautical surveys, perform height clearance surveys, and perform DGPS surveys. Responsibilities include topographic and land surveying, collecting and analyzing survey data, and preparing reports and documentation. Collaboration with team members and clear communication will be essential for ensuring project accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct DGPS surveys for aeronautical and infrastructure projects
- Execute height clearance / obstacle surveys in compliance with aviation norms
- Assist in data collection, validation, and post-processing using survey software
- Work with senior surveyors on OLS mapping and airspace-related studies
- Prepare survey reports, drawings, and coordinate data outputs
- Ensure accuracy, calibration, and maintenance of survey equipment
- Coordinate with field teams and project managers for timely execution
Required Skills & Qualifications- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Survey Engineering, or related field
- 0–3 years of experience in DGPS surveying (freshers with strong fundamentals may apply)
- Basic understanding of:
- DGPS/RTK systems
- Coordinate systems and projections
- Height clearance / topographical surveys
- Familiarity with software like AutoCAD, GIS tools, or survey processing software
- Willingness to travel and work on field projects
Must Have- Exposure to aeronautical surveys, AAI projects, or OLS studies
- Experience in drone survey integration with DGPS
- Knowledge of aviation-related survey standards
