Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support our engineering team in managing cloud infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to real production systems in a startup environment.

You will work closely with developers to ensure smooth deployments, system reliability, and basic automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying applications to cloud environments
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Help manage servers, environments, and configurations
• Monitor application uptime and performance
• Assist with Docker-based deployments
• Troubleshoot basic infrastructure and deployment issues
• Maintain infrastructure documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 12 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure
• Basic knowledge of:
• Linux fundamentals
• Git & version control
• CI/CD concepts
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Basic understanding of Docker
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a startup environment

Good to Have

Basic scripting (Bash / Python)

Exposure to Kubernetes

Understanding of networking basics

Experience deploying Node.js or web applications
