Thick&Thin Media is a full-suite event marketing agency that lives and breathes events, experiences, and culture. We specialize in building immersive festivals, exhibitions, brand activations, and live properties that people remember. Our work includes large-scale experiential platforms such as Van Gogh: An Immersive Story, Indian Sneaker Festival, and several major cultural and lifestyle events across India.
We are a growing team of event enthusiasts who care deeply about craft, detail, and real-world impact. If you get excited seeing your design printed on a massive stage backdrop or trending on event reels, you'll fit right in.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and creatively curious Junior Designer to join our events and experiences team. You will work closely on live projects from concept to execution and help shape how thousands of people experience our events, both online and on-ground. Your work will include:
- Event & Festival Branding
- On-ground Creatives (Banners, Standees, Hoardings, Stage Visuals, Venue Branding)
- Social Media & Event Promotions
- Merchandise & Collateral Design
- Basic Video Editing for Event Content
- Event Microsites / Landing Pages
Responsibilities
- Work closely with event managers, producers, and brand teams to understand the vision behind each project.
- Develop strong visual identities for events and campaigns from scratch, not just adapt templates.
- Design creatives that work in real spaces, from stages and entry gates to sponsor zones and merch counters.
- Create high-performing digital creatives for promotions, announcements, and post-event content.
- Maintain brand consistency while adapting designs for fast-moving, live environments.
- Prepare accurate, production-ready files for printers, fabricators, and vendors.
- Handle multiple projects, last-minute changes, and tight deadlines with calm and clarity.
- Support live events with quick edits, updates, and emergency creatives when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong command of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other equivalents.
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Genuine interest in events, festivals, exhibitions, and experiential marketing.
- Ability to think beyond screens and design for physical spaces and human interaction.
- Clear communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable under pressure.
- A strong visual sense and hunger to keep improving your craft.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with remote or hybrid flexibility based on project needs.
- Hands-on experience working on some of India's most exciting experiential properties.
- Real ownership of work that goes live in front of thousands of people.
- Exposure to the full event lifecycle, from pitch decks to packed venues.
- A fast-paced, collaborative, and creative-first work culture where good ideas are valued.
