Junior Civil Engineer

Job Title: Junior Civil EngineerDepartment: Engineering / ProjectsReports To: Senior Civil Engineer / Project ManagerJob Summary:

The Junior Civil Engineer will assist in the planning, execution, and supervision of construction projects. The role includes site supervision, quality checks, material management, and coordination with contractors, vendors, and the project team to ensure timely completion of projects as per design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
• Ensure work is executed as per drawings, designs, and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on construction materials and workmanship.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site workers for smooth operations.
• Prepare daily progress reports and assist in documentation (BOQ, estimates, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Support Senior Engineers and Project Managers in project planning and execution.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards.
• Good understanding of structural drawings and AutoCAD.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and team coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle site challenges.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD; knowledge of project management tools is an added advantage.

Work Environment:

• Based at project/construction sites with site visits as required.
• Flexibility to work extended hours based on project deadlines.
