Founded in 2020, Larder & Folk is an artisanal bakery and cafe located in the heart of Panjim city. We bake fresh bread and handcrafted pastries for customers and local restaurants. Our 30-seater cafe, opened in December 2023, serves brilliant coffee and delicious food. We are dedicated to providing exceptional culinary experiences for our patrons.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Baker located in Panaji. The Junior Baker will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and baking of bread, pastries, and cookies, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Day-to-day tasks include mixing ingredients, following recipes, managing baking times, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Junior Baker will also collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and menu items.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Bakery and Baking
  • Skills in Food Preparation, including measuring and mixing ingredients
  • Knowledgea of bread and pastry
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Prior experience or training in a professional kitchen is a plus
  • Passion for baking and a commitment to high-quality standards
