Role Description The Junior Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role involves supporting senior architects in developing architectural concepts, preparing design drawings, and assisting with interior and landscape design coordination. Daily tasks include creating and updating CAD and 3D models, preparing presentations, assisting in design documentation, and coordinating with consultants and vendors as needed. The Junior Architect will participate in site visits, help monitor design implementation, and support basic project administration and communication with clients. The role requires attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and active collaboration within a multidisciplinary design team.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development and preparation of design drawings and layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Integration, such as coordinating architectural, interior, and landscape elements for cohesive project outcomes.
- Candidates should possess foundational Project Management skills, including organizing project documentation, tracking milestones, and supporting coordination with stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess relevant Software Development–adjacent skills, such as proficiency with design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools), and an ability to learn new digital tools.
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Strong visual communication skills, including hand sketching and preparation of design presentations.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage time effectively, and adapt to project demands.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations; prior internship or studio experience in architecture or interiors is an advantage.
