Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Chennai. The Junior Architect will support the design and development of residential interiors and architectural projects, preparing drawings, 3D models, and presentations under the guidance of senior team members. Daily tasks include assisting in space planning, material and finishes selection, and coordinating design details for elements such as modular kitchens, wardrobes, and false ceilings. The role involves collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of design intent, conducting site visits, and tracking basic project documentation. The Junior Architect will also help refine design concepts, update plans based on feedback, and contribute creative ideas that align with BerryBunch.in's aesthetic and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and preparation of technical drawings.
• Candidates should possess foundational skills in Project Management, such as organizing project information, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting timelines and deliverables.
• Candidates should possess basic skills in Software Development and Integration only as they relate to using and integrating design software tools (e.g., CAD, BIM, rendering tools) within the workflow.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in common architectural and interior design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and be comfortable producing 2D and 3D design outputs.
• Relevant educational background such as a bachelor's degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Strong visual and design sensibility, attention to detail, and the ability to translate client requirements into practical design solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and engage with clients and vendors professionally.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and grow within a fast-paced, client-focused interior and architectural practice.
