Role Description
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
Junior Accountant responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate.
Ultimately, you'll ensure all transactions run smoothly. Job Responsibilities:
Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
Redeem stamps and coupons.
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
Work Hours: 6 working days, from 10 am to 7 pm(9 hours)
Junior Accountant Qualifications/Skills:
1 to 3 years of Work experience in the relevant field.
Knowledge of GSTR2B, GSTR2A
Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Bachelor's degree in commerce.
Expert in Tally prime and Google sheet
M S Excel knowledge is compulsory.
Languages:
Ability to read and speak the English language and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to effectively communicate professionally with guests, associates, supervisors, and others as required for optimum operation of the property.
