The junior accountant (shipping commercial) will support day-to-day accounting activities related to shipping operations, including invoicing, data entry, and basic financial tracking. The role offers exposure to shipping commercial workflows such as freight and voyage accounting, while assisting senior team members in maintaining accurate financial records.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Assist in invoicing, billing, and basic accounting entries
- Support handling of freight, hire, and demurrage records
- Maintain and update financial data and documentation
- Assist in voyage-related accounting and P&L tracking
- Perform reconciliations and support reporting activities
- Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and verification
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
