Junior Accountant

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH TALLY.

BASIC ENGLISH SKILLS (required).

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Junior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Operations:

• General Ledger: Take complete ownership and responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger, managed primarily in Tally.
• Accounts Receivable (A/R): Supervise the A/R process, ensuring timely invoicing and collection.
• Accounts Payable (A/P): Strategically manage vendor payments, aligning them with cash flow projections and optimizing working capital.

Required Qualifications:

·     Knowledge/experience in Pet Industry (highly preferred)

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting. (CA Inter or CA qualification is highly preferred).
• 3 years of proven experience in an accounting role
• Expert-level proficiency in Tally (or specified ERP) and MS Excel.
• In-depth, practical knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
• Demonstrable experience in preparing management reports (P&L, Cash Flow, Breakeven).
• Experience with export documentation and banking procedures is a strong asset.

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage team members in other departments
• Team Player: A collaborative approach, working effectively across departments (Sales, Merchandising, Operations).
• Analytical & Proactive: Strong analytical skills with a proactive mindset to identify financial issues and opportunities.
