About Us:
Kidology is a fast-growing kids brand focused on promoting screen-free play and holistic child development through thoughtfully designed products. As we scale our e-commerce operations, we are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
- Handle Accounts Payable & Receivable efficiently
- Ensure timely and accurate TDS calculation, deduction, and filing
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Maintain records of invoices, payments, and financial transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
- Monitor e-commerce transactions (marketplaces, payment gateways, refunds, etc.)
- Generate financial reports and MIS for management review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in an e-commerce or startup environment
- Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
- Good understanding of Excel
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience handling marketplace accounting (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of financial planning and analysis
