Position: Finance Associate / Finance Administrator
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for a Finance Profile position. This role will involve supporting the finance team with accounting tasks, administrative work, and data management using tools like Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will have a B.Com degree and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Finance Support:
- Prepare and process accounting entries in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end and year-end financial closings.
- Manage accounts payable
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audits.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, record-keeping, and document management.
- Coordinate with other departments and maintain correspondence for financial matters.
- Organize and maintain financial records and databases.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Use Microsoft Excel to create and manage financial data, track transactions, and generate reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained for auditing purposes.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a finance or administrative role is a plus but not required.
