Role Description

This is a full-time Junior Accountant position based on-site in Bengaluru. The role involves managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with tax preparation and compliance, and generating financial reports. The Junior Accountant will also play a key role in processing accounts receivable and payable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with established financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Accounting principles, financial data management, and reconciliation
• Experience with accounting software and tools, and proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance practices is an advantage
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
• Previous work experience as a Junior Accountant or in a similar role is a plus

Interview Process

1. Initial Application Review: Resumes will be carefully reviewed based on the qualifications and relevant accounting/finance experience.
2. First Round Interview (In-Person): Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an initial interview with a member of our Finance team or HR to discuss their background, accounting experience, and technical skills in more detail.
3. Final Interview (In-Person): Final candidates will meet with senior members of the Finance team or Management for a more in-depth discussion about their suitability for the role and company culture.
4. Offer: Successful candidates will receive an offer of employment.
