Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Junior Accountant at Deme by Gabriella. The Junior Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting in budget preparation. The role also involves verifying the accuracy of financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting audits and compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines. Collaboration with team members across departments to ensure smooth financial operations is a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial analysis techniques
• Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial tools
• Attention to detail, accuracy in financial reporting
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance processes
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Prior experience in the fashion retail or manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
