Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Junior Accountant, located in Mumbai. The Junior Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and assist with reconciling accounts. Responsibilities will also include processing invoices, maintaining financial records, supporting budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role requires collaboration with the finance team to achieve the company's financial objectives and contribute to its success.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation
• Retail experience
• Experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Tally, or other similar platforms
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not mandatory
