About the Channel: We are a New channel focused on delivering high-value content to our audience. We don't just want good videos; we want videos that hook viewers, retain attention, and drive action. We are looking for a storyteller, not just an Adobe operator.
The Role: We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Video Editor to join us Full time. You will be responsible for turning raw footage into engaging YouTube content (Long-form & Shorts) that aligns with our brand voice. You should understand the YouTube Gamepacing, sound design, and visual engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- A-to-Z Editing: Assemble raw footage into polished videos
- Storytelling: Structure the narrative to maximise viewer retention (cutting fluff, keeping the energy up).
- Visual Enhancements: Add b-roll, text overlays, lower thirds, and basic motion graphics to emphasize key points.
- Audio Mixing: Clean up dialogue, add background music, and use sound effects (SFX) to enhance the viewing experience.
- Repurposing: Create 2-3 vertical Shorts/Reels from the main long-form video.
- Feedback Loop: Implement feedback quickly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience editing for YouTube (Portfolio is mandatory).
- Software: Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- YouTube Knowledge: You understand what makes a video clickable and watchable (hooks, pacing, jump cuts).
- Asset Management: Ability to source copyright-free music, stock footage, and templates.
- Reliability: Strict adherence to deadlines.
Brownie Points:
- Experience creating high-CTR thumbnails.
- Basic After Effects skills for custom animations.
- Knowledge of Hindi/Regional languages
