Job description
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Writer to join our Documentation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documents for projects related to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Ministry of Defence (MoD). This includes writing user handbooks, technical manuals, and other related documentation.
- Develop and write user handbooks, technical documents, and manuals for MHA and MoD-based projects.
- Research and comprehend technical terms, concepts, and drawings to produce accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Ensure that all documentation adheres to company standards and is up-to-date.
- Utilize tools such as MS Word and, preferably, Robo Help and Adobe Suite for document creation and editing.
Qualification:
Any Engineering degree.
Experience:0u20132 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
Key Skills:
- Excellent English writing skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
- Ability to comprehend and document technical terms and engineering drawings.
- Strong research skills and the ability to write clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Word.
- Knowledge of RoboHelp and Adobe Suite is preferable but not mandatory.
- Good interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Patience and perseverance to handle detailed and potentially complex technical documentation tasks.
