Job Description
We are looking for 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team as an Junior MIS Analyst. The ideal candidate will leverage their financial expertise to manage and improve our Management Information Systems (MIS), providing valuable insights to support strategic financial decision-making. This role requires a blend of accounting knowledge, data analysis skills, and familiarity with MIS tools.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from internal systems and sources to support reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and performance trackers.
- Automate recurring reports using Excel, SQL, Power BI or similar tools to improve
efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide business insights through trend analysis, variance analysis, and operational performance evaluation.
- Monitor data accuracy and perform data validation, reconciliation, and cleansing where required.
- Support management with ad-hoc data requests, presentations, and decision-making models.
- Ensure data confidentiality, compliance, and timely delivery of all scheduled reports.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros preferred).
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or similar analytical/reporting tools.
- Good understanding of data modeling, visualization, and MIS practices.
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to present data insights effectively.
- Time management and the ability to work under deadlines.
