We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our data team. You will be responsible for supporting the development of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data infrastructure that power analytics and reporting across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Support the development and optimization of data models, databases, and data warehouses.
- Clean, transform, and validate structured and unstructured datasets for analysis.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable datasets.
- Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Document data processes, architectures, and best practices for internal use.
- Contribute to performance tuning and automation efforts within the data ecosystem.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 02 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related roles (internships/projects acceptable).
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Basic programming skills in Python or Java.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts, data modeling, and data integration.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred / Good-to-Have
- Experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, Luigi, or similar).
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Understanding of APIs and data ingestion methods.
- Exposure to version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
