Jr Back End Developer

We are seeking a skilled Jr. Back End Developer proficient in Go to contribute end-to-end on cloud-native, web-scale services. You will join a self-organized agile team, own back-end features, and assist in running production operations under the guidance of senior engineers. This role focuses on designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices, with an emphasis on performance, security, and service reliability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within an agile team to build, own, and run backend services.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices in Golang.
• Contribute to service reliability through monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and on-call rotations.
• Translate product requirements into robust, maintainable code with a focus on performance and security.
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability of services.
• Troubleshoot complex issues spanning code, infrastructure, and third-party integrations.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and RESTful API design.
• Experience developing cloud-native services with high performance and availability.
• Solid grasp of software design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL) and SQL optimization.
• Comfortable with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative development.
• Excellent debugging and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Background in performance tuning and disaster-recovery strategies.

QUALIFICATION:

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
