About the Role:
We are seeking a Junior Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional eager to contribute to architectural design, drafting, and project coordination. You will work closely with senior architects, designers, and engineers to bring creative concepts to life while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development Assist in developing conceptual, schematic, and detailed designs for residential, commercial, and urban projects.
- Drafting & Documentation Create and modify architectural drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Site Surveys & Reports Participate in site visits, surveys, and documentation to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
- Material & Finishes Research Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and construction methods.
- Collaboration Work with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Code & Compliance Support the team in ensuring designs adhere to building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years in architectural design, drafting, or visualization.
Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Strong design sense and spatial awareness.
- Ability to create high-quality presentations and reports.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with BIM modeling.
- Understanding of sustainable architecture and green building principles.
