Journalist

We are seeking candidates with prior internship experience for the role of Trainee Journalist, and 2+ years of professional experience for the role of Junior Journalist. You will be responsible for delivering fresh and insightful articles to our audience. An Ideal candidate will be someone who has worked for a Business Magazine or Business Column in Print/Online space.

Responsibilities:

1. Keep up with all the local and global happening in the Jewellery & Gemstone industry
2. Cover a wide variety of stories in respective domain Conduct and schedule interviews with key stakeholders in the Jewellery & Gemstone industry
3. Research on Websites and all Social Media Platform for Jewellery related News and Developments Plan, edit, and write stories and articles for Print and Online Magazine
4. Follow & Attend Trade Shows, Press Conferences and all industry events to stay informed Report all these events in form of articles for print and website
5. Keep up with deadlines.

Skill Set and Requirements:

1. Degree in Journalism with at least 6months to 3 years work experience as a Journalist / Correspondent or similar role

1. Passion about writing and creating insightful stories
2. A portfolio of published articles
3. Strong knowledge of media processes
4. Great interpersonal and communication skills
5. Team player with good time-management skills
6. Proactive in using social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
7. Knowledge and Expertise in SEO Content and WordPress will be an added advantage

Salary, Office Location and How to Reach us for this Urgent Hiring Two Positions

1. Salary is in the range of Rs. 25,000 to Rs.40000 per month in hand.
2. Office Location is Phoenix Paragon Plaza, adjacent to Phoenix Marketcity Mall, Kurla (West), Mumbai.
3. Full time Job from office, 10.30 am to 7.30 pm, 5-days a week
