Job Summary
The Senior IFS ERP Administrator will be responsible for the comprehensive administration, maintenance, and optimization of our IFS ERP system. This role will ensure the system's stability, security, and performance, while providing expert technical support to users. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of IFS applications, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to system management.
Responsibilities
IFS Platform Engineering & Architecture:
Maintain expert-level knowledge of IFS Apps 10 architecture and design principles.
Perform comprehensive installation, configuration, and management of IFS Apps 10 and Oracle DB on Windows/Linux environments.
Implement and administer high-availability IFS Apps 10 clusters and load balancing configurations.
Stay current with the latest IFS releases and technologies, providing recommendations for system enhancements.
Ensure IFS system compliance with relevant security policies and regulations, conducting regular audits and vulnerability assessments
Participate in IFS implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring successful execution.
IFS System Optimization & Maintenance
Scale IFS applications and Oracle databases to meet performance and capacity requirements.
Develop and implement automation scripts (batch/shell) for routine tasks, enhancing efficiency.
Manage the deployment of application and database patches and upgrades within IFS environments.
Implement and maintain robust Oracle database backup and recovery strategies (RMAN, EXPDP), ensuring data security.
IFS System Monitoring & Issue Resolution
Implement proactive monitoring of the IFS environment, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact users.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system errors, performance bottlenecks, and application issues.
IFS Administration & Technical Support
Manage all aspects of IFS ERP application administration
Provide expert-level technical support to end-users, resolving complex issues and inquiries.
Collaborate with IFS support and external vendors to resolve critical system problems.
Develop and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and usability.
Maintain comprehensive system documentation and knowledge base.
Desired Skills
IFS Application Administration (IFS 10, 8,7.5)
Database Administration (Oracle/SQL Server)
Scripting (SQL, PowerShell, etc.)
System Monitoring & Performance Tuning
Communication & Collaboration
Security & Compliance
Strong understading of Networking (Akamai/ Firewalls)
Experience in IFS Cloud
Relevant IFS certifications
Experience in Grafana is a plus
