Job Description

  • Perform Jira or Jira Service Desk migrations, including data transfer, system configuration, and integration.
  • Configure Jira projects, issue types, workflows, screens, permissions, and notification schemes to align with business needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize custom scripts using tools such as ScriptRunner.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Jira-related issues, ensuring smooth system operation and high availability.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to gather requirements and implement tailored Jira solutions.
  • Provide user support, guidance, and training for Jira best practices.
  • Maintain documentation using Confluence and Excel for system processes and configurations.
  • Stay updated with the latest Jira features, plugins (e.g., Insights, ScriptRunner), and industry best practices.
  • Ensure Jira harmonization across projects and departments.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Jira administration, including migration, configuration, and scripting.
  • In-depth understanding of Jira's core functionality, plugins, and API integration.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on process optimization.
  • Experience documenting processes using Confluence and managing data in Excel.
  • Jira certification is an advantage.
