Leads the shipyard's finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong cost control, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning to support operational and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Manage accounting operations and ensure timely financial statements.
- Control project-wise costs for shipbuilding, conversion, and repair jobs.
- Handle treasury, cash flow, banking facilities, LC/BG, and working capital.
- Ensure compliance with taxation, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Support pricing, tender evaluations, and milestone invoicing.
- Coordinate with procurement for material and inventory cost control.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
Qualifications
- CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent.
- 2025 years of progressive experience in finance, with significant exposure to shipyards, marine engineering, EPC, or heavy manufacturing industries.
- Strong expertise in project accounting, costing, and financial controls.
