Position Summary
The
Senior Functional Analyst, having 10+ years of experience and specializing in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE ERP), plays a critical role in analyzing, designing, and implementing business solutions within the JDE ERP environment. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Work You'll Do
- Business Process Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Document current processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- System Configuration & Implementation
- Configure JDE E1 modules based on business requirements.
- Extensive experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules such as Manufacturing, Distribution, and Inventory.
- Understanding business process workflows and how they map to JDE E1.
- Familiarity with SQL, BI Publisher, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of system integrations and data migration.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Assist in the development of customizations and integrations.
- Testing & Validation
- Develop test plans and scripts.
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and are compliant with standards.
- Training & Support
- Provide end-user training and documentation.
- Offer ongoing support and issue resolution post-implementation.
- Project Management & Collaboration
- Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and business units.
- Participate in project planning, timelines, and deliverables.
Team
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, and objectives. This involves conducting workshops and gathering detailed requirements for new projects.
- Regular meetings with stakeholders to provide progress updates, ensuring they are informed and can communicate their future business vision through the system.
- Need to work with a cross-functional team to support project planning, execution, and tracking for operational initiatives.
Basic Qualifications And Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any engineering stream
- Certifications in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
- Knowledge of modern ERP integrations.
