JavaScript QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Software QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, a strong understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to work in a dynamic CI/CD environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work within an automated testing pipeline (integration, system, functional, and use case validation) driven by a Continuous Integration framework.
• Apply strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, test methodologies, and tools with a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and detailed test cases.
• Test software components and business applications across multiple platforms, including Windows, Linux, and Mobile (Android/iOS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to identify, isolate, and resolve defects.
• Continuously improve testing efficiency by adopting innovative testing techniques and tools.
• Maintain a creative and proactive approach toward building better, more reliable products.

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript-based automation frameworks such as Puppeteer, Playwright, or Cypress.IO.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Basic understanding of React and React Native.
• Strong experience in end-to-end, frontend, REST API, and backend testing.
• Exposure to MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in data-driven testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with websocket communication.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pluses:

• Experience in FX Trading applications.
• Mobile application testing experience.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Git.
