Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled
JavaScript Developer with strong expertise in
Node.js and React.js to help build and support a scalable, enterprise-grade web framework. The role involves designing reusable components, building intuitive APIs, and ensuring high performance across platforms and devices. You will also play a key role in supporting internal developers through documentation, training, and code reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance an enterprise web framework
- Design intuitive, scalable, and extensible APIs
- Build cross-platform reusable components and libraries
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across devices, browsers, and servers
- Automate builds, testing, deployments, and other manual processes
- Conduct thorough code reviews and identify breaking changes
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training to engineering teams
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform benchmarking and performance optimization
Must-Have Skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and React.js
- Deep understanding of React core principles and component lifecycle
- Experience with API design and development
- Knowledge of DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript build tools (Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn)
- Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, performance, and visual testing)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design simple solutions for complex problems
- Understanding of web standards and accessibility
- Ability to perform performance benchmarking and optimization
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for technical training and documentation
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
- Exposure to building enterprise developer platforms or frameworks
- Experience creating reusable libraries for large engineering teams
- Knowledge of cross-platform performance optimization
