Java Tech Lead

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers through the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications.
• Drive technical architecture, enforce code quality standards, and conduct design/code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management to ensure seamless delivery.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure timely, high-quality project delivery, managing priorities and expectations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing quick and effective solutions.
• Mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and foster continuous improvement.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Hibernate, and Web Services.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools.
• Experience with at least one frontend framework: Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and responsive UI design.
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments using tools like JIRA, Git, Maven, etc.
