Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Team Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java technologies combined with proven leadership skills to guide development teams, ensure code quality, and drive timely project execution.
- Key ResponsibilitiesLead and guide the Java development team through end-to-end application development
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions
- Define and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and development best practices
- Review system designs, code, and technical implementations to ensure quality, performance, and security
- Drive the development of microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs
- Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth and timely delivery
- Ensure application scalability, performance optimization, and security compliance
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through technical guidance and code reviews
- Participate in technical discussions with internal stakeholders and clients
- Identify technical risks proactively and propose effective mitigation solutions
- Key Skills & Experience7+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
- Experience in building and maintaining Microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend integrations
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate / JPA
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and SOLID principles
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
