Job Title: Java/SpringBoot - Application Support


Experience Level

3 to 5 years

Key Responsibilities

As a Java/SpringBoot Application Support Specialist, you will:

  • Application Support & Maintenance: Provide L2/L3 application support and maintenance for web and standalone applications built on Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Troubleshooting & Bug-fixing: Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, perform bug fixes, and address issues related to application performance and functionality.
  • Database Operations: Work with SQL, PL/SQL, Triggers, and Packages, including troubleshooting and development experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other RDBMS.
  • IT Service Management: Apply knowledge of the ITIL Framework, understanding incident, problem, change, and release management processes. Utilize IT Service Management tools like ServiceNow.
  • System & Application Knowledge: Apply technical knowledge to support multiple systems, business groups, and applications.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency:

  • Java/J2EE: Strong bug-fix and development experience on web and standalone applications built on Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Database: Strong support skills with SQL, PL/SQL, Triggers, and Packages.
  • RDBMS: Troubleshooting and good development experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or any other RDBMS.
  • Frameworks & Technologies: Understanding of JAVA Web Services, Microservices, Angular, Struts, Spring, Hibernate.
  • Operating Systems: Knowledge of Linux and scripting.
  • ITSM Tools: Experience working on IT Service Management tools like ServiceNow.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of prior experience in application support and maintenance (L2/L3 support).
  • Exposure to ITIL Framework.

Essential Professional Skills

  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to multiple systems and support multiple business groups and applications.
