Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Lead end-to-end solution design, including API contracts, integration patterns, and data flow across distributed systems.
Ensure code quality through best practices such as clean coding, unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA to refine requirements and deliver high-quality features on time.
Implement secure coding practices and contribute to the stability and resilience of production systems.
Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical direction and constructive feedback.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of the platform and technical roadmap.
Support deployment and release activities, working closely with DevOps/operations teams where applicable.
Maintain clear technical documentation for services, APIs, and system components.
Knowledge of more than one technology
Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals
Knowledge of Testing tools
Knowledge of agile methodologies
Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Quality processes
Basics of business domain to understand the business requirements
Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills
Good understanding of the technology and domain
Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles and modelling methods
Awareness of latest technologies and trends
Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
