Java Specialist

Ericsson is hiring a Java Specialist to join the Managed Services (MS) Tools Team. The role focuses on transforming locally developed tools into centralized, secure, and globally standardized solutions. You will lead tool architecture, drive security compliance, and collaborate across global teams.

What you will do:

Architect, develop, and enhance tools using OOP concepts and modern software stacks.

Assess existing tools, perform gap analysis, and define transformation roadmaps.

Implement and govern security controls across tool lifecycle.

Re-architect solutions for scalability, compliance, and global standards.

Work with cross-functional teams to drive tool security assessments and centralization.

Ensure closure of technical and stakeholder issues with structured, data-driven approaches.

The skills you bring:

Overall Experience : 10 - 15 Yrs

OOP-based application development

One or more of the following: Java, .NET, Angular, PHP, Python, backend/front-end development, WebMethods, Shell scripting

Understanding of network protocols, network flows, connectivity models

Strong knowledge of Operating Systems and Databases

Deep understanding of end-to-end security controls for tools and applications

Capability to re-architect complex solutions for performance, reliability, and compliance

Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Skilled in conflict and escalation management using logical, data-driven reasoning.

Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closureboth technical and stakeholder-related.

High resilience under pressure, with strong ownership and accountability.

Proactive, structured, and capable of managing multiple parallel workstreams efficiently.
