Java Software Engineer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A large Australian financial institution has engaged us to provide resources for their Digital transformation & app modernization on multiple applications.

We require experienced Front-End Developers with strong knowledge of core Java and exposure to financial markets technologies. You will be working with a team of Developers on a variety of tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and delivery of product and solution

• Executing PoCs and developing MVPs for new work areas

• Percolating and safeguarding coding standards and best practices

• Code reviews for critical pieces of code

• Guide and mentor the programmers and clear bottlenecks

• Conduct technology sessions

REQUIREMENTS

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Back-end Java

• Java 11/17

• Spring Boot

• Kubernetes

• Kafka (1 prior messaging solution)

• MVN/Gradle

• Azure (Compute, Storage (CosmosDB, Postgres), Key Store, Networking, Identity/Security) OR AWS (Compute, Storage (Dynamo, Postgres), KMS, Networking, Identity/Security)

• Monitoring tools (Splunk, AppD, AWS/Azure Logging)

• Github

• Automation of testing at different levels

• Jenkins pipelines

• Terraform / Ansible
