The ISS Development team leads the design, build, and ongoing evolution of technology solutions supporting the Investment Solutions and Services business. Within this function, the Distribution team delivers scalable, high-impact Salesforce solutions to stakeholders across all asset classes and regions, enabling efficient distribution, stronger client engagement, and data-driven decision-making.

You will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable integration services, guiding engineering best practices, and ensuring high‑quality delivery across the CRD integration landscape. You will collaborate closely with product teams, Business Analyst, platform engineering, and release engineering to deliver robust, secure, and performant services.

Core elements of the role include:

. Integration Architecture & Engineering

• Lead the design and development of integration components for CRD using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, messaging, and Angular UI modules.
• Define architectural standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for integration layer development.
• Ensure all integration services are cloud‑ready, scalable, observable, and aligned with enterprise architecture.

. CI/CD Engineering & DevOps Enablement

• Own CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Kustomize, Helm, and other release automation tools.
• Standardize build, deployment, and testing workflows across environments.
• Drive Kubernetes‑native deployment practices with automated promotions and pipeline governance.

. Quality Engineering & Test Automation

• Establish and enforce automated testing standards, including JUnit, Spring Boot integration tests, contract tests, and Gherkin-based BDD.
• Partner with QA to ensure high-quality, traceable, and automated delivery practices.
• Promote shift‑left engineering and continuous validation.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in building integration services for enterprise platforms.
• Hands‑on experience developing CRD Integration Layer solutions, with understanding of trading workflows, order lifecycles, compliance evaluations, and CRD data models.
• Deep expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and modern integration patterns.
• Experience developing front‑end components using Angular.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Kustomize for cloud‑native deployments.
• Expertise building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including automated build, test, and promotion workflows.
• Solid background in JUnit, Integration testing, Gherkin/BDD, Cypress and automated quality frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and troubleshooting data or performance issues.
• Understanding of message‑oriented integrations, enterprise patterns, and event‑driven architecture.
• Experience working with GitHub, branching strategies, code reviews, and secure development practices.
• Good understanding of the Investment Management domain - including trading workflows, FIX connectivity, portfolio data, and post‑trade processes.
• Ability to leverage AI‑assisted coding, documentation, and pipeline optimization to improve engineering velocity and consistency.
• Familiarity with AI‑based tools in engineering workflows, such as intelligent log analysis, anomaly detection, auto‑triage, or observability platforms to accelerate troubleshooting.
• A forward‑looking mindset with the motivation to explore how AI can modernize the CRD Integration Layer and enhance developer productivity.
