Java Software Engineer

Project description

A large Australian financial institution has engaged us to provide resources for their Digital transformation & app modernization on multiple applications.

We require experienced Front-End Developers with strong knowledge of core Java and exposure to financial markets technologies. You will be working with a team of Developers on a variety of tasks.

You will be working closely with onshore DXC Luxoft and bank employees.

Responsibilities

As a full-stack developer, you would be responsible to drive technology delivery across cross-asset, cross-financial product implementation, which is necessary for the Sell and Buy-side requirements of various institutional clients. You will work across other application/platform leads, business users, and trading desks to understand business vision and priorities and help deliver cutting-edge technology as part of the hands-on design and delivery of these solutions.

Design and delivery of product and solution

Executing PoCs and developing MVPs for new work areas

Percolating and safeguarding coding standards and best practices

Code reviews for critical pieces of code

Guide and mentor the programmers and clear bottlenecks

Conduct technology sessions

Skills

Must have

4 to 6 years of experience in Back-end Java

Java 11/17

Spring Boot

Kubernetes

Kafka (1 prior messaging solution)

MVN/Gradle

Azure (Compute, Storage (CosmosDB, Postgres), Key Store, Networking, Identity/Security) OR AWS (Compute, Storage (Dynamo, Postgres), KMS, Networking, Identity/Security)

Monitoring tools (Splunk, AppD, AWS/Azure Logging)
