Role Overview
We are seeking a Java Developer with 25 years of experience in backend development. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust backend applications using Java (Spring/Spring Boot).
- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external systems.
- Refactor and optimize existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Troubleshoot bugs and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Document code, system architecture, and development processes clearly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 25 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Strong command of Java, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, or related frameworks.
- Proficient in working with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and collaborative version control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment tools.
- Understanding of frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, etc.
