Java - Senior Engineer

Job Description

Skills Required: 5-7 years of relevant industry experience
. Java
. SQL (advanced queries, performance tuning)
. Unix / Linux environments
. Batch scheduling tools (Autosys/Control-M)
. REST APIs
. Messaging tools like: Kafka, MQ
Key Responsibilities:
. Configure, customize, and support Summit modules for trade lifecycle
. Develop enhancements for new financial workflows
. Perform production support, issue resolution, and root cause analysis
. Build integrations with external systems through APIs, messaging services, or batch processing
. Participating in unit testing, SIT, and UAT support
. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations
Good to Have:
. C++
. Shell scripting / Python
. Experience with SUMMIT or any other tool being used in capital markets systems, trade lifecycle, and financial instruments
. Banking & Financial markets background
. Experience in Data Preparation Tools with CI/CD build pipelines, Jenkins & Autosys
. Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and continuous integration
. Candidates with working knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift is a plus
. Exposure to cloud (AWS/Azure)
. Experience with data platforms (Databricks, Hadoop)
. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery models
. Issue tracking tools such as Jira
