Job Summary
We are looking for an IT Test Engineer with strong experience in Selenium WebDriver and Java The candidate will be responsible for automation testing of web applications ensuring quality through efficient test design execution and defect tracking in an Agile environment
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium and Java
Execute functional regression smoke and integration tests
Identify log and track defects using defect management tools
Collaborate with development and business teams for issue resolution
Prepare test cases test scripts and test reports
Perform API testing and backend validation
Integrate automation scripts with CI CD pipelines
Follow QA standards and best practices across SDLC and STLC
Required Skills
3 to 5 years of experience in manual and automation testing
Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java
Good knowledge of SDLC STLC and testing methodologies
Experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks
Knowledge of SQL for data validation
Experience with tools like JIRA or ALM
Familiarity with Maven or Gradle and Git
Experience in Agile Scrum environments
Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Skills
API testing using Postman or Rest Assured
Experience with CI CD tools such as Jenkins
Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber
Basic knowledge of performance and cross browser testing
Experience in Finance Banking or Insurance domains
