Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Java Production Support Engineer to join our team. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues for Java-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Provide L2/L3 support for Java applications in production environments.
- Monitor application health, logs, and performance using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar.
- Analyze and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements.
- Deploy patches and releases in production environments.
- Create and maintain support documentation and SOPs.
- Participate in on-call rotation and handle critical incidents.
Required Skills:- Strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
- Hands-on experience with SQL/PL-SQL and relational databases (Oracle/MySQL).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
- Experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Knowledge of application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss).
- Good understanding of production monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
