Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

API Gateway Management: Designing, implementation, and optimization of API gateways using Envoy Proxy and HAProxy, ensuring high availability and performance.
Sidecar Proxy Development: Oversee the development and maintenance of an in-house sidecar proxy, ensuring seamless integration with existing & new services.
API Monitoring and Security: Implement API monitoring solutions and security tools to ensure the integrity and security of APIs, adhering to best practices in API security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on API gateways and microservices architecture preferably built on JVM systems.
Strong in coding on Java, JavaScript, REST, OpenAPI, gRPC.
Proven experience with Envoy Proxy, HAProxy.
Background in cloud-native technologies & building with cloud infrastructure.

Good to Have Skills:

Familiarity with CICD, Networking (DNS, TCP, TLS, HTTP 2), Kubernetes, Istio.
Help pivot toward serverless, modern APIs & Organizational design patterns.
