Position: Java L3 Support Engineer
Experience: 5-12 yrs
Location: Bangalore (WFO)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and Maintenance:
- Provide L3/L4 support for banking applications, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in both production and non-production environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Address critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
Design and Development:
- Develop, test, and deploy enhancements, bug fixes, and new features for Java applications.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of applications through careful design and thorough testing.
Testing:
- Conduct comprehensive unit, integration, and system tests to validate the quality and functionality of code changes.
- Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to ensure consistent quality across all deployments.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and support staff.
- Lead the investigation of complex issues, coordinating efforts across teams to deliver effective solutions.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of software and support services.
- Engage with clients and business teams to understand their needs and provide tailored support solutions.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for system design, support procedures, incident resolutions, and development tasks
